I'm Reading.....
Large Family Logistics.
Good book so far....I'm a little over half way & have tabbed many pages. I've read a couple other books on home organization & home schooling, I think the method this lady presents may be the one that just might click for me, especially since I've already implemented a few of the things she mentions before I ever read the book.....maybe moms of many children think alike?

On slightly the same note, one thing I can say for sure is, LIFE IS BUSY. My husband had a work related dinner last night & I joined them. We went to Chima's. It's the same restaurant that John & I went to for our 10th anniversary date. Great food! There was a group of 28 people at the dinner. John introduced me to many of the people there. Some I had already met, others I hadn't. I got asked the question "So, do you work?" I answered with a gentle smile "Yes, 24-7".
I am truly very thankful for having to stay busy doing what's right in front of me. Don't get me wrong, I love breaks - they can be so refreshing, and on the other hand I CAN & DO get sidetracked....but I'm talking about the periferals....what would I be doing with myself? I have many ideas. But keeping busy managing home schooling, six awesome children, our 7th pregnancy, and the home keep me from lots of things I know I could easily get lured into.....Keeping busy managing my family & home life seems to be very good for my soul :) Thanks Be to God!

Samsung RFG297AARS fridge
It would be nice if people would post reviews of products they purchase 1-4 years after owning.......not 1 week or 1 month after buying. Of course...everybody loves new things, so they are so excited to share the news, and I also recognize that most products are obsolete after at most 1 year, but most products don't breakdown within the first week to month.
As the old saying goes "nothing lasts forever". John & I like to say "nothing earthly lasts forever" because memories can last a lifetime and prayers are eternal, among other things. But we have noticed that things last about 5 kids.....and that's a ssssstttttrrrreeeeccchhhh.
Unfortunately the ice-maker in our $2 grand + Samsung fridge has not lasted 5 kids. It barely made it 3 1/2 years.....also unfortunate is when the repair guy tells you he sees failed ice-makers in Samsungs & LG fridges all the time. The ticket to repair?? almost 15% of the cost of the fridge :o(
Maybe....if we ever purchase another fridge again, I'm going to interview the repair guys first.....
